Can I keep my existing phone numbers?
In most cases yes. Geographic and many other South African numbers can be ported to a new provider. We handle the process and schedule the cut-over to limit disruption, although timelines depend on your current provider.
Will VoIP work during load shedding?
Hosted voice runs in the cloud, so it keeps working as long as your internet connection and in-office equipment have power. We recommend battery or UPS backup for your router and network switch, and mobile apps let staff keep taking calls on mobile data.
How much bandwidth do I need for VoIP?
As a rough planning figure, allow about 100 kbps in each direction for every simultaneous call using standard settings. We check your actual line and network during the assessment before recommending anything.
